I see so many ads for free cell phones everyday that I was beginning to think there is a cell phone tree somewhere that people were plucking these amazing phones from. I wished I knew where this tree was so I could get my own phone for free. I wondered if the phones were really free or if that was just as crazy as finding a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
I went online and checked out a bunch of different companies and was surprised at the results. Almost every website claimed to have free cell phones available. The question was whether the phone was really free or if there was a catch. The answer of course was there was always a catch to getting the phone.
I found a special to get a
free AT&T cell phone if I signed a two year contract with the company. The phone was a great one, one of the latest models. However, two years was a long time to commit. I looked at a T-Mobile cell phone and saw I could get a free one from them as well for only signing a one year contract. I was going to do this, but found out I didn't qualify because I already had an account with them and the offer was for new customers only.
Disappointed, I looked at a lot of other sites but found that most had conditions that you had to be a new customer or had to sign a contract longer than I wanted to. Of course, I could always buy cell phones like everyone else, but I was hoping to get something for nothing as most of us do.
So, I found that there are
free cell phones at the end of the rainbow, but you have to get past the condition leprechauns to get them.
